Biography

Jian Xiong received the Dr. Eng. degree in signal and information processing from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2015. From Feb. 2014 to May 2015, he has visited the Image and Video Processing Labortary in Chinese University of Hongkong (CUHK) as a Research Assistant. Since oct. 2015, he has been an Assistant Professor with the College of Telecommunications and Information Engineering in Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NJUPT).

Doctor Xiong’s current research interests include image and video processing, Computer Vision and machine learning. He has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed technical papers in international journals and conferences. Doctor Xiong is also a member of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society.
